  • Compressor key components design uses advanced jet engine technology.
  • Aerodynamically contoured impellers - Impellers that use high back sweep main blades with low-rent and are smaller and lighter than profile intermediate splitter blades are aerodynamically contoured to improve compressor full-load and part-load operating efficiency.
  • High performance tubing - Tubing with internally and externally enhanced fins improves chiller performance by reducing overall resistance to heat transfer. The new heat exchanger reduces refrigerant charge and manufacturing cost.
  • Carrier patent AccuMeterTM system regulates refrigerant flow according to load conditions, provides a liquid seal at all operating conditions and eliminates unintentional hot gas bypass. Optimized piping design reduces refrigerant pressure loss and ensures chiller efficiency.



  Introducing Carrier’s Evergreen® 23XRV with FoxfireTM Technology — the world’s first water-cooled variable-speed screw chiller. The Evergreen 23XRV combines the reliability of a screw compressor with the energy savings of a variable-frequency drive (VFD). This simple, reliable combination achieves ultra-high efficiency levels while lowering the cost of ownership.

The Evergreen 23XRV’s overall efficiency is superior to other constant and variable-speed chillers on the market today because only the 23XRV has the ability to maximize efficiency at all operating conditions. The 23XRV has an unparalleled operational envelope that permits the chiller to operate under adverse and ever-changing real-world conditions, while maintaining peak efficiency levels.

As with all of Carrier’s Evergreen family of chillers, the 23XRV enables chiller plants to achieve superior efficiencies at true operating conditions without compromising the environment. With environmentally sound refrigerant, superior efficiency and powerful controls, these units are ideal for both new construction and replacement projects.

Super-accurate rotation of an environmentally sustainable compressor results in power savings of up to 50%* (compared to AC Fixed Speed compressors) and quieter operation.

With the fast increasing waste stream, we aim to minimize the impact of electronic goods on the environment. Such inspiration helps us to limit the quantity of waste stream infiltrating into the final disposal by applying the recyclable plastics.
